Each of his full-length poetry collections has won an award: ''Black Leapt In''; ''The Actual Moon, The Actual Stars''; and ''Forgive Us Our Happiness'' won the Barrow Street Press Poetry Prize, the Morse Poetry Prize, and Bakeless Prize, respectively.〔http://www.pw.org/content/chris_forhan〕 The author of three chapbooks (''Ransack and Dance'', ''x'', and ''Crumbs of Bread''), Forhan has had poems chosen for The Best American Poetry 2008, AGNI online, and the Paris Review.
